Southland Insulators

An excellent company to deal with from start to finish. Reasonable pricing, excellent business and communication skills. I will start with our sales representative Luis Corado. Very professional, showed up on time for appointment, answered all my questions and concerns on the spot. Giving me confidence in not only his knowledge but that of the company he was representing Next came Sandy Tharpe the job scheduling coordinator. She was beyond exceptional! SANDY made certain I confirmed previous required inspections had been properly been approved. This, I really appreciated, not that our inspections had not been approved, but the fact she took the effort to prevent a mistake on my behalf. To me it demonstrated a care for the customer... Just not another job to make money on Hector showed up within the appointment window and with helper worked in extreme hot conditions to get our job done. He left the jobsite clean and debris free. I did my due diligence and obtained multiple quotes. Southland while not the cheapest, definitely exhibited the level of professionalism I was seeking, and they delivered that beyond my expectations.

Truck 298 with Fredy, Daniel and Jesus did a great job at my house for the crawl space and the attic. Recommend them at your job! Luis Corado did a great job with the site survey and awesome estimate for the job.

Southland Insulators / Fifth Fuel encapsulated my large crawl space and they did an outstanding job and their price was great also! The crew was outstanding! They first removed all of the old insulation and other debris in the crawl space. Then they put foam board along the exterior crawl space walls and a heavy liner on the floor sealing any cracks etc. with spray foam. They were very neat. Removing all trash and minimizing any small trash from blowing (it was windy the day they removed the old insulation). I highly recommend this company.

I needed an insulator that could perform all aspects of insulation from closed cell spray foam, to mineral wool & fiberglass from one company. A builder contact of mine recommended Southland Insulators and I wasn’t disappointed! George came out promptly and provided an estimate and alternatives that I requested. He’s experienced in the custom home building industry, prompt, professional and responsive. The work was scheduled and the team executed it well. Thank you to Nathaniel and Nelson on the foam crew as well as Hector, Juan and Kenedy on the Batt Insulation crew. They did an excellent job! I will be recommending and using again.

They came out and didn’t finish the job as contracted and inconveniently offered to come back out when I work full time. The sales rep offered me a $5 discount lol. Hard pass. Wish I’d known these guys do the work for Fifth Fuel, with their misleading 4.9 rating. Edit: Read people’s reviews of these guys on Reddit. Don’t ignore the big red flag. They’re insulting and unprofessional and do a poor job. The picture I attach was taken just a couple of days after they finished. Total failure.
