They even built me a custom stand alone makeup vanity.\n- The floor tile and shower wall tile were installed as I asked and look great.\nCons:\n- The communication could have been better. Sometimes the workers would show up at 9am, sometimes at noon, sometimes at 5pm. Sometimes not at all. Which wouldn’t have been an issue if I had known in advance so I didn’t have to wait around all day.\n- The mosaic shower floor tile was not installed properly as far as alignment goes. It is not that noticeable unless you are looking for it. I should have looked closer as they installed it.\n- The black grout used for the black and white tile floor left a residue on the white tile which they failed to remove. I spent several hours myself using a special product and finally got it cleaned up.\nMost of the work is top notch and I would hire them again. If the communication approves, I would probably give a 5 star rating.\n2023 POST\nThis is the fourth company we’ve hired to do various remodeling projects (replacing flooring, master bath remodel, kitchen remodel). Our laundry room needed a complete remodel so we now tried Texas Remodelers and Builders.\nPros:\n- The communication was daily during the two weeks of work.\n- The quality of work was good.\nCons:\n- The washer and dryer cover was supposed to be removable for easy access to the water faucets and electric outlets. It is not.\n- When installing the washing machine, a rubber washer was missing. Instead of driving 5 minutes to the hardware store, they took a used washer from our garden hose and installed that on our new washing machine.
