"Overcharged me. I did not like the way the gutters looked and wanted them changed. I purchased rain chains which you put up. However, refuse to give me any refund on what I paid for that I didn’t use that was up then less than a week. It made the aesthetics of my home absolutely horrible. Which the sales guy rudely told me, well that’s just your opinion. I believe my opinion counts since I own the home and I’m paying for these overpriced gutters. I have a very small home 1100 ft.² and think it’s ridiculous that I paid $13,000 for Gutters, some of which had to be removed because it looked absolutely horrible on my home. The only thing that leaf guard was willing to refund me were for two splash guards that they knew I wasn’t using because they left them on my property and not underneath the gutter spouts. I am very dissatisfied with leaf guard! Of course, you all charge people before you do the work so if you don’t like it, you’re stuck with the price. Lesson learned there! I will be leaving reviews accordingly when I get a chance. Had a family medical emergency and I’m just getting a chance to deal with this."

"Pretty cool gutter, they do what they advertise but be warned...Although our salesman was professional as well as very knowledgeable about the product, the whole sales experience reminded me of things being sold door to door way back in the day. We were originally given a price and after going back and forth a few times we arrived at an arbitrary price that was 1/3 of the starting/original quoted price. This process took four hours and we were repeatedly told the price was only good until the salesman left our property....really?!?!?! It seems like the salespeople are free to throw any price out there until the customer says yes. This is a different time / generation and Its time LeafGuard updated their sales practices!"

Unfortunately, when the foundation company fixed the foundation, they messed up the downspouts. Leaf Guard of Charlotte did send out Alexander who shared that some repairs were necessary. The foundation company is willing to pay for the repairs and we asked for the cost to be sent so we could send it to the foundation company. It’s been several weeks now and despite repeated calls to the parent company, we’ve heard nothing back from Leaf Guard of Charlotte. So recommendation of this franchise is bordering on unlikely"

"I had a damaged gutter and the local people gave my insurance company an exhorbitant quote, which was negotiated downward after several conversations with the local rep. I like the quality of the product and installation, but I believe the local franchise/company is taking advantage of people with a proprietary product pricing model. If someone asks me about the company for a new project, I would advise them to get competitive quotes from other manufacturers."
