1,284.70$ for installing 5 light fixtures Last week we had 5 light fixtures installed, by 2 technicians sent by Absolute Electric. Pleasant professional gentlemen, nothing to comment there. Our work was basic work, nothing complex, just the types of lights that one would install himself, in the majority of the cases. Our mistake was to make an appointment with these guys, just because the previous owner had some annual subscription with them and we said to try it to see if we renew. The 1 start review is about their pricing...we ended up paying 270$/fixture, and that is after some discounts were applied (I truly think this is a joke with the plan discount), because the overall price is a joke. They took the time to send 2 emails to ask for our details of the plan, but never once sent any estimate or a list of prices, to be able to make an informed decision. The technicians came, saw the lights, made an estimate on their tablet, showed it to my husband who was next to me, and mumbled the price. I was never shown the estimate. All I heard was 200 and some $ which seemed decent, considering it took them for 3 out of the 5 lights, 5 minutes each, to install. The other ones, I will say generously, 30 min each to install. We were charged the same ammount of money for each light 270$ after discount / light, a total of $1,284.70 for 5 lights which all cost less than 700 $. My husband thought I heard the full price and I agreed to it, signed and paid. Later during the day, when I saw the charge on the card, my heart dropped. On top of it, when I voiced my concern about the outrageous pricing and not receiving any estimate in advance, they served me the corporate crap that one gets in this situation. Anyway...if you have easy things to install and you have money to waste, yep, call Absolute Electric, they will overcharge you in a heart bit. I virtually never write reviews, but lately we have been given some outrageous estimates in this area for any work we tried to do, and wanted to maybe help someone avoid the absolute ripoff that we experienced. In the end, our mistake, their gain.

Robert Mace of Absolute Electric was very professional and helpful in providing a quote. He went over substantial information and answered all of my questions, and provided 3 quotes for different versions of the job I need done based on budget needs. He also completed fantastic work, being honest and upfront all the way around the work, answering questions, and providing courteous service. He upgraded my 60+ year old box (left) to a new box (right), moving it to a better location, adding ground and arc fault protection, and rewiring significant portions of the house.

1st time using Absolute Electric and it was an awesome experience. From scheduling to them contacting me to try and schedule an earlier appointment date, I couldn’t have been more impressed. Nick and his teammate did a fantastic job and were courteous, knowledgeable about what work we needed done, and were extra kind to my very excited dog. Couldn’t have asked for a better visit. Will definitely use this company in the future.

Absolute Electric, specifically Ray and his team, did an outstanding job in taking down our old chandelier and installing the new one (pictures included). They accommodated our requested timeline for the job to be completed and were very professional and efficient through every step of the process!! Price was reasonable as well! Would definitely recommend!!

Robert - and every person we have worked with Absolute - have been incredible. They have helped us overhaul every system in our new home and build it out to our plans. When we had concerns with a general contractor managing our home renovation, Robert provided an inspection and caught about a dozen issues with the GC's work that were not to code. We've trusted Absolute Electric for more than a decade.
