"The air conditioner and heater are working. I am happy with that, but everything else could have been handled better. The person who I was speaking to at Air-Ref was very personable and nice. The installers made some mistakes and they did not connect the heater. Air-Ref would not accommodate me on the weekend even though it was Air-Ref’s mistake. I had to take a day off or get my father to take a day off. She would not accommodate me and my schedule even though it was their mistake. The installer said that they could have come out on the weekend, but that wasn't an option given to me even though I fought for it. One gentlemen came out. I was told it would take 6 hours. It went well over 6 hours. It seemed like the first installer called for back up, and the manager came out. There was terrible communication throughout the installation process. They weren’t communicating with me. It probably took about 10 hours. Overall, 3 people ended up coming to my home and still didn't install the heater properly. They didn't leave when they said they were going to, so I obviously couldn’t leave. I had to cancel my whole day. They didn't finish installing it, and some wires were exposed, but the site was clean. All of the comments that I have already given about the lack of communication with the installers. They didn't finish the job or do it in the time that they said they would do it in. It took two days of scheduling and cancelling. It has been months. I should have been called for feedback a couple weeks after it was done. I appreciate as much feedback as possible, but the most accurate feedback would have been given closer to the job."

"It was nice to have an honest company come out. We had a wire split. Air-Ref fixed the roof wire. They gave us some information about our A/C. It was nice to have an honest company and not someone who blames it on something else."

"They should know better if they are in the industry. They should come to your house and do the estimate, and then the work—if I accept. Not charge me $85 to tell me what I already know. I cannot believe that I paid $85 for them to tell me something was wrong, and that they could not fix it. They did not even say they would deduct the $85 from the new part. I paid somebody money to tell me my A/C was broken. I already knew that when I called them."

"I think the company is overall OK, but they have a problem with communication. They only listened to what they wanted to. They do whatever they want to do, but the clients need to be first, and they aren’t. We spent a lot of money for the A/C Handler and didn’t get what we asked for. You need to take care of the clients from A-Z. I don't know how this will end up, but I’m hoping it will be fixed by the time it gets warmer. I have an issue that is not fixed yet with the A/C Handler. It starts slow, and then ramps up and is very noisy. It starts blowing air fast, but then slowly blows. We did not receive what we wanted. If it does not get fixed, then we will take the company to court. I just want to have the right product that we requested and paid for. I want a promise that when the weather gets warmer, it will be solved by then. I have already paid the money, and I expected to have a good product. We are supposed to receive the product that we set our criteria for, regardless of what product they put on the contract. We told the salesperson our criteria, and he was supposed to give us a product that fit the criteria. We are not experts. The guys have shown up on the job site many times without calling or an appointment. The job is good, but it is not the right product that we requested and set our criteria for via our communication with the salesperson. I don't think so. The guy gave me a way high estimate for another job. The final product installed was not the product that we discussed or that we wanted. I could not recommend them to people with an issue like this. I am not happy with the job."

"They need to communicate more internally. I had no direct salesperson. I had a number of different reps. There is a lack of communication internally in the office. Air-Ref had to come out numerous times for the same problem."
